I am signed up for numerous savings sites such as HauteLook, Swirl, and Rue La La. I love a discount. A few months ago I saw on twitter that a site had Out of Print Tees on sale. The site offering the sale was Fab.com. I was very excited because I had looked at their tees several times and this was the incentive I needed to purchase one. The tee I picked up was The Outsiders tee. I love it. The Outsiders has been one of my favorite books since I first read it in middle school. The movie is sort of cool too because it was filmed in the 80s and it features so many up and coming stars.
I like Fab.com because they offer an unique and eclectic variety of sales on their website. They have new featured sales each day and each sale lasts for 2-3 days. Since I placed my first order back in July I have made several other purchases from the website including cool Willie Nelson show art, a coin purse, and a dish towel. If you like unique, fun items then I strongly suggest you sign-up to receive daily sale emails from Fab.com so you don't miss out on awesome sales.

Fashion Rescue
tank: Aerie; shirt: TJ Maxx; jeans: Delia's (borrowed from a friend); shoes: Nine West; necklace: New York & Co; bracelet: Delia's; earrings: Etsy
I am really glad I was able/remembered to participate in this round of EBEW! For a moment I thought I wouldn't be able to participate. I ordered a pair of red jeggings from American Eagle last Sunday when they had 40% off all merchandise. I was very excited because I have been dying for a pair of red pants. Well, I was really annoyed when I hadn't received them as of Saturday. It had never taken this long to receive my American Eagle order before. I receive an email yesterday notifying me that my pants had just shipped! A week later! Perhaps my other orders arrived faster because I placed them in a store instead of online? Not sure but I am very disappointed with American Eagle.
Anyway, a friend of mine with an awesome wardrobe was nice enough to let me borrow a pair of her colored jeans. Yay for stylish friends that wear the same size I do!

Just Like Sydney (Well Only a Little)
So Syndney @ The Daybook demanded that her blog readers follow in her footsteps and post their own awesome & awkward thoughts/moments for Awkward & Awesome Thursday! Being the loyal blog follower I am, here I go.
AWKWARD
-I am sure Sydney has already pointed this out but typing the word awkward is well, awkward.
-When I am singing at the top of my lungs in my car and another driver notices me! Ooops!
-Keeping one thumb glove free so I can use my iPhone. Maybe I should just cut the fingertip off one of the index fingers instead of halfway wearing a glove.
-Being a 26 year old and just now discovering that I like anime. Full Metal Alchemist is soooo
good. Wow, that is also very nerdy. Don't tell anyone about this guilty pleasure of mine.
-Dodging the advances of your cousin's 19 year old friend. (Well maybe it is a little awesome. I could be a cougar. Haha.)
-Forgetting my iPod when I go to the gym and the man on the elliptical machine right next to me is breathing very loudly/making strange noises. Hello....I am trying to concentrate! (I take my cardio seriously.)
AWESOME
-Sirius XMU Sessions (Indie bands play live session in studio. I love my XM Radio.)
-Losing 2 lbs during my first week on my new high protein eating plan.
-Going to Urban Outfitters and discovering that clearance is 50%.
-Spending time with two of my fabulous cousins. These two gals are more like my sisters.
-Getting my hair done! My stylist is amazing with my hair and plus she is really fun to talk to.
-Going to Ulta and discovering that all Bourjois make-up is $4.99. I don't typically buy this brand but I love trying out new eyeshadow! (I like sales too.)
-A joint New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys tour! Yes, I will be attending! The boy band I loved as a child and the boy band I loved as a young teenager together, yes please.
I promise I will start blogging on a regular basis again soon. I have just been very uninspired lately.

Well, I scraped that last 30 for 30 challenge. I felt like some of the pieces I choose just didn't work well with a lot. I am up for giving it another try before the end of the year.
Today has not been a good day. I have had a sour stomach ever since I woke up this morning. Tomorrow night I am going to see Band of Horses and I really hope I feel better by then. Since I didn't work today I finished the 3rd season of Six Feet Under and watched another episode of True Blood. I can't wait to get the next True Blood discs through Netflix.
A lot of sales are going on right now. I made my monthly allowed etsy.com purchase today and I bought a dress from the Tucker collection for Target. I didn't get the dress I really wanted because I waited too long and it was sold out. The dress I choose is adorable though. Loft online has an additional 40% off their sale merchandise and I must have this skirt (which is $11!!!) Madewell and Anthropologie also have sale items I would like to buy but I can't buy everything!
Hopefully starting tomorrow I will start posting outfit pics again. I will blog on a regular basis!
