Oops! I haven't posted since Wednesday! I don't have any pics of my outfits from Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. On Sunday I broke the rules and wore lazy day clothes because I basically cleaned all day.

I think this is only the 3rd or 4th time that I have worn this dress. I really like the green. Normally I wouldn't wear these shoes with this dress but I was not going to wear heels today.
My necklace has an eiffel tower on it which is for my friend who is in France this week. I am very much looking forward to getting my souvenir!

Third Time Is NOT a charm

Today is one of those days where my outfit looked better in the mirror than it did on camera. There is nothing I liked about this outfit once I saw a pic of it on me. Does the camera really add 10 lbs? I hope so. Plus had my mom take my pic again. Big mistake. She doesn't understand how the zoom function works on my camera. I love her but she isn't a photographer. Tomorrow I will remember to have a co-worker to take my pic.

"Monday" at work cannot be avoided. Sometimes it just falls on a Tuesday. I started my 2nd week back at ETSU today. I decided I need a backpack so I am not attempting a balancing act everytime I walk to class. Any stylish suggestions? I'll probably just go with solid black. Which may not be the best choice considering once I am done with school I will use the pack when I go hiking. Black shows less dirt though, right? So maybe black is the best choice.


I like wearing black. I also like wearing odd shades of yellow and green that most people wouldn't consider wearing. This dress is a mustard shade of yellow. Some people don't find that color flattering, I myself love it. I wanted something easy this morning so I threw on this dress. I might have made a mistake not choosing a black pair of dress shoes. I have worn my Steve Madden gladiator sandals twice in a row. Good thing they are sort of dressy. I am convinced they must make my calves look huge though. It's all muscle though. Haha.





Note to self: Take picture before my outfit has had a chance to wrinkle.

Okay, my mom took this picture on my iphone because my digital camera was dead. Not the best and really should be more of a close-up! Sorry hopefully the rest of my pics will be a little better. I really do hate this pic. It does not show any detail of the scarf. Grrrr! It took me 10 mintues to decide if I would rather wear a necklace or scarf with this outfit. I think wearing my glasses is making me question "my look". I rarely wear my glass and since they are an accessory themself it changes things a bit.

I didn't notice until now the black heart theme of today's outfit. It is funny how most guys don't understand the way girls dress. I saw a guy friend today and he questioned why I would wear a black shirt and scarf on such a hot day. I didn't dress to work in the garden. I was inside most of the day.

Plus I always complain about not having anything to wear so this hopefully will give me a chance to realize I do have plenty of things to wear!
